Lights of the Ozarks in Fayetteville One of the Best in the US
Last year Country Living ranked Fayetteville, Arkansas #11 out of 35 Magical Towns for Best Holiday Light Displays in the U.S. The historic Downtown Square in Fayetteville, Arkansas comes alive each year with one of the most elaborate light displays in the entire state.
This year Lights of the Ozarks kicks off this weekend on Friday, November 22 with the flip of a giant switch at 6 PM followed by live music and fun. The square in Fayetteville turns into Christmasville with over 500,000 bright LED lights that light up the town square until New Year's Day.
Lights of the Ozarks Special Events
- Nov. 22 - Light Night 6 PM - 10 PM
- Dec. 5 - Lights of the Ozarks Christmas Parade - 6:30 PM
- Dec. 13 - Fayetteville Event Festivus - 5 PM - 10 PM
The Fayetteville Festivus is a new event that features tasty treats, food trucks, holiday shopping, a Silent Night Disco, Christmas inflatables, and holiday movies.
Children can visit Santa Claus at his workshop on East and Center on selected weekends throughout December from 6 PM to 8 PM.
So bundle up and head Northwest for the Lights of the Ozarks which are free and open to the public every night until 1 AM.
