Deadline to Apply for UAHT’s Hope Collegiate Academy is Soon
It's time to give your 10th grader a headstart and have them apply for the Hope Collegiate Academy. The deadline to apply is Monday, June 3 and it is approaching fast.
The Hope Collegiate Academy is an academy that is offered from both the Hope Public School District and the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana. This academy gives students the opportunity for a three-year curriculum that will let them students earn their high school diploma while at the same time earning their associate degree
Students entering the 10th grade are eligible to apply. The applicant must be a current or soon-to-be student in the Hope Public School District. They must also meet the academy's entrance criteria. The Collegiate Academy is a public school located on the University of Arkansas-Hope campus and it is free of charge.
Throughout the years, this academy has achieved a 100% graduation rate. Attending this academy also helps students save an average of $18,980 compared to the cost of attending the first two years at a public four-year university in Arkansas.
If you know someone who should be in this program, they need to schedule an ACCUPLACER test, visit UAHT Testing and call (870) 722-8247, or contact Rachel Holt, Career Coach at Hope High School, at rachel.holt@uaht.edu. Acceptable test scores must be submitted by Monday, June 3, 2024.
