Don’t Miss UAHT’s Solar Express Annular Eclipse Viewing Party Saturday
Are you ready to see the partial Annular Solar Eclipse on Saturday, October 14? What about seeing it steamed live as the Total Annular Solar Eclipse? Here's a great place to catch it both ways with others who love to see this kind of event. The University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana will be hosting a fun viewing party and cultural education program to celebrate the event.
Everyone who attends will get a pair of free solar eclipse viewing glasses.

10 AM Hempstead Hall Theater Doors Open/Livestream of Eclipse Begins
View the San Francisco Exploratorium's live coverage of the eclipse from the path of annularity set to music in Valley of the Gods, Utah.
11 AM It's the Annular Solar Eclipse in Navajo Country
The Exploratorium has partnered with the Indigenous Education Institute and Navajo elders to share knowledge of eclipses from the Navajo worldview ahead of this annular eclipse on October 14.
The annular eclipse will pass through Indigenous lands in the "Four Corners" region, including Valley of the Gods, UT, where the Exploratorium will livestream the eclipse and present an hour of educational programming as part of its longstanding partnership with NASA.

Visitors will be able to watch the partial Annular eclipse outside with others too. UAHT will provide special safe eclipse viewing glasses and pinhole projections. If you want to view independently, you can download the Exploratorium Total Solar Eclipse app to view all telescope feeds on your phone or device.
This event is just one of the events in their Solar Express activities leading up to the big one the Total Solar Eclipse Event on April 8, 2024.

Astronomy & Eclipses Lecture - April 2, 2024 at Hempstead Hall at 5:30 PM. Listen to astronomy instructor Karen Steed on astronomy and eclipses. This is also free to the Public
Solar Express Celebration - April 8, 2024 The Big Day! At UAHT Pavilion at 10 AM to 4 PM. Join in the celebration of this Historic Total Solar Eclipse with UAHT. This event will be free to the public as we learn about the Solar Eclipse.
