Arkansas Woman Wins $250,000 in Arkansas Scholarship Lottery
Talk about a Merry Christmas. An Arkansas woman just claimed her winnings from the December 14 drawing. It as a nice amount of $250,000 just in time for Christmas.
Melody Carmical is from Smithville and she ordered her Natural State (NSJ) lottery ticket online and won! The winning numbers from that drawing were 6, 16, 20, 25 and 29.
She told the ASL that she plays regularly and she uses numbers she calls angel numbers.
I chose numbers representing faith and new beginnings,” the winning ticket holder told lottery officials. “I select these numbers every time I play the lottery.
What Does The ASL Winner Plan to do With Her Winnings?
Carmical plans to use the money to pay off bills and also put towards her retirement.
Retailers that sell a winning ticket receive a 1 percent commission. Since this ticket was sold online the Player’s Café is the retailer associated with ticket orders placed on Lotto.com. They will receive a $2,500 commission check for selling this winning ticket.
When is The Natural State Jackpot Played
The NSJ has drawings at 8 PM Monday through Saturday. According to the ASL,
The jackpot for tonight’s drawing is $70,000. NSJ starts at $50,000 and increases by $5,000 every drawing until it hits $150,000. After that, it grows by $10,000 every drawing until it’s won. Each play is $1.
