Reader's Digest made a list of the prettiest lakes in every state. The great thing about this list is that most of the lakes on the list are a little less known when you think of Arkansas. For instance, the first lake that comes to my mind is Lake DeGray, Lake Ouachita and Lake Greeson. All of which are pretty lakes but If you thought one of those lakes made this list, you would be wrong.

Greers Ferry Lake is about 60 miles north of Little Rock and yes it is an amazingly beautiful lake. It's one of the top 5 largest lakes in Arkansas and it stands as a national model for its environmental cleanliness. Known for great fishing, it is also a great lake for camping, water sports, swimming and cliff diving!
