Arkansas Basketball Coach Eric Musselman Hired at USC

It's been reported by numerous affiliates including ESPN and CBS Sports that Arkansas Basketball coach Eric Musselman has been hired as the new coach of USC.

Musselman had been in talks over the last day or so with the University of Southern California for a vacancy left by former Trojan coach Andy Enfiled who took the head coaching job at SMU.

The 59-year-old coach for the Arkansas Razorbacks spent the past seasons at the helm in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and guided the hogs to two Elite Eights in 2021 and 2022 and one Sweet 16 appearance in March 2023. After being highly ranked in the preseason Musselman endured his first losing season with the Razorbacks and finished with a record of 16-17 is only sub  .500 with the program

Mussleman has always had ties with Southern California his mother lives in the area.

"My Family and I couldn't be more excited for this incredible opportunity at USC," said Eric Musselman.
