According to science at least, this may be the world's most beautiful woman.

This is Florence Colgate, an 18-year-old from England who recently won a natural beauty contest.

The contest involved women modeling without any make-up or cosmetic enhancements.

A researcher from the Perception Lab at the University of St Andrews' School of Psychology said:

"Florence has all the classic signs of beauty. She has large eyes, high cheekbones, full lips and a fair complexion. Symmetry appears to be a very important cue to attractiveness."

The ratio of the distance between her ears to the distance between her pupils is almost 2:1 which is scientifically ideal.

And the distance between her eyes to her mouth is almost a third of the distance from her hairline to her chin, which is another scientific measurement of symmetrical perfection.
