Hot Air Balloons + Helicopter Rides at Petit Jean Mountain

It's going to be a very special Father's Day weekend at Petit Jean Mountain in Morrilton, Arkansas June 19-21. Get ready for the Petit Jean Balloon Event!

Some of the most colorful hot air balloons will take flight high above Petit Jean State Park. And that's not all, how about taking dad on a helicopter ride high above the treetops and cliffs? Unfortunately, Hot Air Balloon flights have already been sold out for this festive event, however, helicopter rides are still available on Saturday but reservations are required. Only a limited amount of rides remain so make your reservation now for just $20.

While you're visiting the state park make sure to stop by the Petit Jean Farmers Market during their special community day. Whether you get to ride or not this trip from Texarkana is so worth the drive for some spectacular scenery and for viewing hot air balloons. There's plenty of hiking trails and waterfalls to keep you having fun all day. However, due to the Coronavirus pandemic some trails are still closed.
