Arkansas has a lot of great small and sweet towns, but HGTV decided to make a list of the best small quaint charming towns in America. They narrowed their list to one town in each of the 50 states that they consider a hidden gem.

They were looking for a charming atmosphere, cute and quaint shops and restaurants. They also looked for interesting history and of course fun things to do. So what town in Arkansas made the list? What about Texas?

This town is filled with local boutiques. Plus things to see at the Old Gruene Market Days. In the summer you can cool down tubing on the Comal River.

Eureka Springs, Arkansas

HGTV stated;

Named one of a "Dozen Distinctive Destinations" by the National Trust for Historic Preservation, Eureka Springs, Arkansas, is a secluded, peaceful town in the heart of the Ozarks. Magnificent Victorian homes built on cliffsides line its winding streets, while its historic downtown area offers more than 100 shops and art galleries to explore.
