The Texarkana Homeless Coalition had its annual Point-In-Time homeless population count yesterday (Thursday). Today Friday, January 27, It's the TXKHC Bridge City Project Chili Cook-off. Starting at 5 PM at 316 Hazel Street in Texarkana, AR, in front of the Salvation Army shelter.

This is a free event. Bring a piece of fabric that might have a special personal meaning to you or your family. The fabric will be included in Texarkana's Community Memory Quilt. No sewing experience is required. Quilt Artist Joey Pack will be on hand to help you. This event is Saturday, January 28 from 2 PM to 4 PM at the beautiful historic P. J. Ahern Home located at 403 Laurel in Texarkana Arkansas.
