Girls Rock – Texarkana Native Serves Aboard USS Abraham Lincoln
It's always great to get an update on our local servicemen and women, especially when they are serving our country overseas.
We Love Getting Updates on Our Local Servicemen and Women
We just received an update from the Navy Office of Community Outreach. They collect photos of our sailors and then send the photos back to the sailor's hometowns.
Serving Aboard The USS Abraham Lincoln
Today we received word that Texarkana, Arkansas native, Aviation Boatswain’s Mate (Handling) Airman Harley Hendrix was photographed as she helped direct a F/A-18 E Super Hornet on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln in the Philippine Sea. And all I can say is, Girls Rock!
According to the press release;
Abraham Lincoln Strike Group is on a scheduled deployment in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability through alliances and partnerships while serving as a ready-response force in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
Also pictured with Airman Harley Hendrix is Aviation Boatswain’s Mate (Handling) 1st Class Blake Rowley, on the left, from Lodi, Calif.
Thank you Airman Harley Hendrix for all you do and God Bless!!
