Firefighters Battling a Fire Just Off I-30 and State Line

Firefighters are battling a fire that has broken out in a hotel next to the Wyndham hotel off Stateline and I-30 West.

If you are traveling I-30 westbound or north Stateline avenue (Hwy71 North) please try to avoid the area. You will most certainly be delayed until they get the fire under control.

No word on how the blaze got started at this time and no word if anyone has been hurt. With windy conditions, it may be a while before they get the fire extinguished properly. Firefighters. police and first responders are on the scene.
