Texarkana Cajun Catfish Festival

The first annual Texarkana Cajun Catfish Festival will begin Friday July 1, 2016 and close out Saturday July 2, 2016. This two-day festival featuring southern fried catfish and Cajun eats is the first of its kind to grace Front Street in Downtown Texarkana. This event will include live blues performances from several different artists as well as a little bit of rhythm and blues music from a few bands.

It will not only feature catfish and Cajun foods, but also include a variety of food vendors. It will also include art and craft vendors and local entrepreneurs.

Bringing the life back to our city’s downtown area is our ultimate goal and the Texarkana Cajun Catfish Festival is just the first step. The festival will begin Friday July 1st from 5pm until midnight, and will continue on Saturday July 2nd from Noon until 11pm.
