Child Car Seat Giveaway at Back-to-School Bash in New Boston

A Back-to-School Booster Bash will be held at the Crestview Elementary parking lot on Saturday, August 19, from 10 AM to 12 Noon at 604 North McCoy Blvd in New Boston, Texas.

Texas A&M AgriLife Extension- Bowie County is joining in with TxDot to provide a limited amount of car seats, professional installation, and education courses to families in our community.

Qualifications

If your child is under 8 years old, the law states they must use a car seat or booster seat. School-age children are safest riding in forward-facing seats or booster seats until the seat belt fits them properly, usually when they are taller than 4 feet 9 inches and between 8-12 years of age.
