This week's featured pet is an adult shepherd mix from the shelter. He is already neutered, which means the adoption fee is less than $60. Sarge is good on a leash and loves affection. He is a great guard dog and no one will arrive at your home without him letting you know that you have company. His bark is scary but he is a sweetheart.

Three dogs at the animal shelter will soon be taking a trip out of the wrong door if they are not adopted or moved into foster homes quickly. Ethan is a very smart young dog. I am shocked that he is still at the shelter. Ethan is a handsome buckskin Pit Bull. He is young and laid back, making him a good choice for a family or first time dog owner.

Mouse is a Terrier mix, small sized dog, that is approximately one and a half years old. When he first came to the shelter on January 23, he was very shy but he has now worked through that issue and is very outgoing. He is fun and loving with a joyful personality. He likes to cuddle, he is good with young kids. Mouse is also heartworm free.

Good news - Cherry, our provide a pet a pad featured pet from last week was adopted. Bad news - several other dogs are running out of time.

The Four States Fair and Rodeo of 2015 is now over but the memories live on through our Power 95-9 You Tube Channel! Enjoy watching the rodeo action captured on video and compiled by event.

The rodeo at the 71st Four States Fair and Rodeo wrapped up on Saturday, Sept. 19 with Bull Riding being the last event. Bull Riding is always exciting to watch. One of the nights the bull went after the pickup riders. I never seen that happen before. I think it caught the pickup rider off guard a bit.

The 71st Four States Fair and Rodeo wrapped up on Sunday, Sept. 20 in Texarkana. I had so much fun at this fair because I didn't miss a day of the action. My stepson and I went to the fair all 10 days! I am a huge fan of the rodeo too.
