After one stellar year on top of the charts, Cardi B has been nominated for five trophies at 2019 Grammy Awards.

Today (Dec. 7), the Recording Academy tapped singers Shawn Mendes, Janelle Monaé, Alessia Cara and Apple Music's Zane Lowe to announce the nominees for Album of the Year, Record of the Year and Best New Artist on CBS This Morning. The "Money" rapper wasn't eligible for the Best New Artist category, however she managed to rack up five nominations in total.

The Bronx rapper was nominated for Album of the Year and Best Rap Album for her debut LP Invasion of Privacy.  "I Like It," which is a chart-topping, J. Balvin and Bad Bunny-assisted track from the album, was also nominated for Record of the Year. Her other popular single "Be Careful" was nominated for Best Rap Performance. As if those noms weren't enough, Bardi was also nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance thanks to her feature on Maroon 5's "Girls Like You (Remix."

After dominating 2018 with her music, 2019 is already looking like a successful year for Cardi B. Before the Grammys air in Los Angeles on Feb. 10, 2019. The "Drip" rapper is set to be the first woman to perform at the AVN Awards in Las Vegas and might hit the stage during the upcoming Super Bowl Halftime show if she gets her way. She's also preparing for her role in Netflix's first-ever music competition along with Chance The Rapper and T.I.
