Beyonce Teams With Ed Sheeran & Gary Clark Jr. at Stevie Wonder Tribute

Stevie Wonder is one of the great musical treasures America is happy to call our own. If you're a product of the hip-hop generation, it's safe to assume that you're more than aware of the piano-playing singer's genius. Last week, CBS filmed a tribute show to the legend, Stevie Wonder: Songs in the Key of Life - An All-Star Grammy Salute, featuring a slew of performers.

Stars such as John Legend, Janelle Monae, Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande and Pharrell Williams took to the stage to show respect to the lauded songwriter. But the standout performance of the night came courtesy of Beyonce, who performed a medley of Wonder's greatest hits with a little help from a few of her friends.

Making a grand entrance, she strutted down the center aisle donning a black-and-gold designer dress. She stopped to give the man of the hour a kiss on the cheek before making her way to the stage, where she started with a rendition of Stevie's first No. 1 single, "Fingertips."

Bey moved into another of Stevie's early classics, "Jammin'" and was joined by Ed Sheeran. The singer, playing a guitar, was dressed far more casually for the event, rocking a blue flannel shirt and black T-shirt. He managed to pull off the near-impossible task of outshining Beyonce with his brand of country-boy soul.

A lively performance of "Higher Ground" closed out the set, featuring Gary Clark, Jr., who turned in a solid vocal performance. All three stars captivated the crowd with their enthralling performance and gave a proper salute to one of the greatest musical minds of all-time.
