Looking for a 4th of July event close to home? Look no further! Here is a look at 10 different upcoming events you could be a part of. 

Hot Springs, Arkansas: A Fireworks Displays for the 4th of July will be held Wednesday, July 3 at Oaklawn's Infield and Thursday, July 4 at Magic Springs. If you're up for a little drive, starting Wednesday evening at Oaklawn's Infield, enjoy a firework display with the family. Bring your kids along to Magic Springs and Crystal Falls on the 4th because they will also be putting on a fireworks show.

DeQueen, Arkansas: The 12th Annual Let Freedom Ring festival will be Wednesday, July 3 at the DeQueen Sportsplex and CCCUA Ampitheater. There will be a variety of local musical acts along with food vendors and plenty of games for the kids. Once the sun goes down the fireworks go up!

Nashville, Arkansas: The Stand Up For America festival will be Thursday, July 4 at the Nashville City Park. Head on out to Nashville to check out some great local artists; there are ten scheduled for just the first hour! Admission is only $1 and the fireworks are set to start at about 9:30 p.m.

Historic Washington State Park: The Art of Candlemaking demonstrations will be held June 28 - June 30; 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Drop by the Historic Washington State Park before your 4th of July festivities begin to see how candles are made and what they are made from. You can even make your own candles to bring home.

Jefferson, Texas: The Jefferson Salutes America extravaganza will be Thursday, July 4 in downtown Jefferson. There will be a variety of live music along with watermelon, hot dogs, lemonade, and much more. Admission is free and there will be a ton of festivities and contests that are all family friendly, along with a fireworks show to end the evening.

New Boston, Texas: Freedom Fest is Thursday, July 4 in downtown New Boston; 6 - 9 p.m. There will be live music from Music Country U.S.A. Band and hamburgers provided by the Boy Scouts. Make sure you bring your lawn chairs and all your friends.

Mt. Pleasant, Texas: A BBQ Celebration and Fireworks Show will take place Thursday, July 4 at the Mt. Pleasant Country Club at 9 p.m. Not only will there be plenty of Texas BBQ, but there will also be an evening golf scramble where registration for a four man team is only $200. You can even bring your boat out onto the lake to enjoy the fireworks show.

Pittsburg, Texas: The 4th of July Independence Day Blast will be Thursday, July 4 at the Pittsburg High School Football Stadium between 8:45 - 10 p.m. There will be a 30 minute firework presentation at the Pittsburg Pirate's football stadium along with parachute bingo where 5 people are set to jump with the American flag. The concessions will be open and tailgating will take place at the event that you don't want to miss out on.

Idabel, Oklahoma: July 4th Fireworks will take place at the George C. Coffman Football Stadium on Friday, July 5. Admission is free and it's sure to be a great Friday night of entertainment. Make sure you grab your family and friends for a great 4th of July fireworks show!

Shreveport, Louisiana: There will be an Independence Day Festival, and a Lee Greenwood performance on Thursday, July 4. The Festival will be at  the Festival Plaza with entertainment beginning at 4:30 p.m. and Kix Brooks going on at 7:30 p.m. The fireworks are set to start at 9 p.m. Admission is free and you don't want to miss out! Lee Greenwood will be performing at the Margaritaville Casino and Resort at 8 p.m. and tickets run at $46.90. Either one of these venues is sure to be a fun evening of entertainment.
