Barksdale Airshow Returns in May With Drive-in Format
Oh, it is so good to see these words 'Barksdale Air Force Base - Defenders of Liberty Airshow 2021'. It's true the Airshow is back this year in Shreveport, but it will be a little different.
Mark your calendars for the big show coming up on Saturday, May 8 and Sunday, May 9. It will be a little different this year with a drive-in format. Vehicles will be lead to parking spots that will be socially distanced from other parking spots and each vehicle will have its own tailgate area. Check out the diagram of what it will look like on their website. Admission is free and so is parking but you'll still need to print out a ticket (one ticket per car) You can do that at their website Barksdaleafbairshow.com. Get your ticket now since space is limited. On the bright side, you won't have to walk for miles!
Gates will open at 9AM and the show starts at 11AM and ends at approximately 4PM each day. As far as food and drinks there won't be any this year so be sure to pack a lunch, some snacks and drinks. Just No grills or cooking devices and No glass bottles or alcohol.
