Police have arrested a man suspected of robbing a home on Ridgecrest in Dogwood Estates. After the homeowner arrived the suspect ran to a neighbors home with a firearm he had stolen and demanded car keys from that homes resident.

In a story we first saw at TXKToday.com... The suspect, identified as 34-year-old Delbert Sisemore, broke into an unoccupied home in the 6700 block of Ridgecrest and was in the process of robbing the place when the homeowner returned. Sisemore ran from the home to the next door neighbors house and entered through the garage. Sisemore allegedly found firearms in the garage of that home, he took possession of one of the firearms and entered the residence thru the laundry room and made contact with the homeowner in her kitchen. He demanded the lady's car keys, but she was able to push him out of her home and lock the door. Texarkana Texas Police quickly arrived on scene and found Sisemore in the garage and placed him under arrest. Sisemore has been charged with Aggravated Robbery, Burglary of a Habitation, Possession of a Controlled Substance, and he also has an unrelated Felony warrant out of Miller County.

Texarkana, Texas Police were dispatched to a residence in the 6700 block of Ridgecrest in reference to an Armed Robbery call on May 24, 2014, at approximately 2:00pm.

The suspect, later identified as Delbert Sisemore, 34, entered into a residence in the 6700 block of Ridgecrest while it was unoccupied and stole undisclosed items.  The homeowner returned to the residence while Sisemore was still inside.  Sisemore ran out of the house and into the garage of the next door neighbors’ residence.  Sisemore located firearms that belonged to the homeowner of that residence in the garage.  Sisemore took possession of one of the firearms and entered the interior of the house through a laundry room.  Upon entering the residence, he made contact with the homeowner.  He demanded the homeowner to give him her car keys.  The homeowner refused and pushed him out of the residence and locked the door.  Officers arrived and located Sisemore in the garage and took him in to custody.  Sisemore is charged with Aggravated Robbery, Burglary of a Habitation, Possession of a Controlled Substance Penalty Group 1, and he also had an unrelated Felony warrant out of Miller County.
