Arkansas Schools Host Meet the Teacher and Back To School Movie Night

Arkansas High will host a movie night on August 9 in Razorback Stadium after meet the teacher night.
All Texarkana, Ark., campuses will hold Meet the Teacher on Tuesday, August 9, except Washington Academy Charter School, which will hold Meet the Teacher on Thursday, August 11.

Each school will hold a public meeting to explain policies, programs, and goals. The  event will also be an opportunity for the community to ask questions and make suggestions concerning the school program.

Tuesday, August 9
Washington Campus ABC Program:4:30-6PM
All Elementary Campuses: 4:30-6:30PM
College Hill Middle School: 5-7PM
North Heights Junior High School: 5-7PM
Arkansas High School:
Hog Howdy is the 9th grade orientation and is at 5:30-6:30PM
Meet the Teacher for grades 9-12 is 6:30-7:30PM

Thursday, August 11
Washington Academy Charter School:6-7PM

The movie Zootopia will be shown August 9 at Razorback Stadium. Children K-6th will need to be accompanied by an adult. Admission is free.

The first day of school for Texarkana Arkansas schools is August 15.
