Arkansas Lawmakers Approve Sport Betting in the State
Great news for Arkansans, the lawmakers in the state have approved mobile sports betting to be allowed anywhere in Arkansas.
According to Chief Marketing Officer Carlton Saffa from Saracen Casino, their mobile app BetSaracen is slated to launch on March 4, just in time for NCAA March Madness. This allows the ultimate sports fan to be able to legally bet on their favorite team from the comfort of their home or business no matter where you live in the state. It also means if you are coming from a different state that does not allow mobile sports betting and you cross into Arkansas you can then use the app to make a bet on a game.
With the launch of the app, the Joint Budget Committee feels like this will most likely boost the economy in the state. There are still some hoops that have to be jumped through before the app can be launched including compliance with Google, Apple, payment processes, and a few other things.
And if you are worried about problem gamblers they have a program that identifies those people and they will not be able to use their app as mentioned to KATV Little Rock.
An announcement will be made as soon as the BetSaracen mobile app is ready to go.
