On Tuesday (May 28), Ariana Grande broke some unfortunate news to her Floridian fans: she was going to have to postpone two of her concert dates after abruptly falling ill. However, it turns out she didn't come down with a bug after all. Ariana Grande, a full-blooded Italian woman, has developed a tomato allergy (which, really, is just CRUEL).

The singer revealed the news Wednesday (May 29) on Instagram. "update: we discovered ..... that ..... i had an unfortunate allergic reaction to tomatoes and my throat pretty much closed. still feels like i’m swallowing a cactus but slowly making progress!" she captioned the post. "thank u all for your love and understanding. can’t wait to get back to performing and to make it up to Tampa and Orlando in November.
p.s. there is NOTHING MORE UNFAIR THAN AN ITALIAN WOMAN DEVELOPING AN ALLERGY TO TOMATOES IN HER MID TWENTIES......."

The rescheduled Tampa and Orlando dates will be taking place on November 24 and 25, respectively.
