Texas A&M University-Texarkana and the Bowie County Master Gardeners will present a program titled “Pruning Tips and Techniques” on Monday, November 12.

The class will be from 6PM until 8PM in University Center Room 232. The class is free and open to the public. According to a press release, the Program is being presented by Clay Wingfield, Program Horticulture Technician at the University of Arkansas SW Research and Extension Center in Hope, Arkansas.

Clay will share his extensive knowledge and answer questions about pruning, an essential gardening skill. Pruning correctly and at the proper time of year can encourage healthy growth, increased flowering, and overall better-looking plants, trees, and shrubs.
