Wyatt Putman Returns to Home Area for Concert + Video Shoot Oct.1

Wyatt Putman grew up in a very small town just below Hope, in SW Arkansas named Spring Hill just 45 minutes away from Texarkana. When he was 12-years-old his great uncle taught him how to play a few chords on the guitar, and within a few months, his dad bought him his first guitar. His dad told him he'd he would buy one as long as he promised that he would learn to really do something with it. Putman credits his dad and grandpa for introducing him to county music singers Hank Williams Jr., and Merle Haggard at a very young age. "Of course, being only 14-years-old at the time I was also into southern rock and rock n' roll," said Putman.

However, his love for country music continued through the years and about 4 years ago he made the move to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue his lifelong dream. The 26-year-old is a proud Arkansan who has come a long way in his musical journey but he has never forgotten his roots of where he came from.

Man, I think those last words he spoke sound like it could be a title to a new song "From Jesus to Jim Beam," What do you think?

That's why this concert this Friday night is gonna be so special in Texarkana because not only is he coming back to his home area but it's Wyatt's way of giving back to the people that meant so much to him growing up including family and friends. Since the show has been moved from the venue to outdoors there will be a bonfire if weather permits, a Buffalo for the kids, and to help promote his next single coming out later this year, a film crew will be on hand shooting scenes for his upcoming music video. If you want to be featured in the video, bring your lifted truck to the event and park it behind the stage before the show. The gate opens at 7, show starts at 8:30 PM. "We're hoping to get as many trucks crammed in there for the music video, according to Putman.
