How would you like to go on a "Haunted Pirate Adventure" just a short drive from Texarkana?

You and your kids can have a great "Haunted Pirate Adventure" at the Shreveport Aquarium. You can join the mutiny at the Shreveport Aquarium all during the month of October. The Shreveport Aquarium is going to offer a haunted pirate adventure with chills, thrills, and of course, all of the gills. This adventure is appropriate for kids of all ages. his is what the Shreveport Aquarium had to say about this event:

Families and all ages are welcome! Lads and lassies will be recruited to our pirate crew. Take yer Pirate oath and make yer way through the aquarium learning pirate skills. Along the way discover bat stars, wolf eels, and all kinds of cool and creepy sea animals.

The kids will be able to spend time in the aquarium mine and hunt for gold and gems. You will be able to hear mermaids tell stories and you can sing along with pirates and hear about their spooky stories.  At the completion of the adventure, you will get a bag of loot from the captain himself.

Regular admission prices are $15 for ages 13+, $12 for ages 3-12, and kids 2 and under are free. Pirate passports $3 includes a loot bag (custom faux leather pouch with candy, doubloons, and gems)  You can get all of the details on the Shreveport Aquarium website.
