Brunch is something I did not fully appreciate until my 20's. After a late night out on the town you want to sleep in, but you still want some breakfast and most places stop serving way too early on a Saturday or Sunday. Brunch is the perfect combination. Here are three places you should try out.

Julie’s Deli.  Julie’s has a  great assortment of dishes on their Saturday brunch menu. With their Traditional French Toast to their Omelet plates, there is always something to try. Even good ole biscuits and gravy.

Hopkins’ Icehouse is famous for their Sunday Brunch. Now with two locations, the original one in down town or the new one on Gibson . No matter the location, you can still enjoy their Breakfast Pizza or their Eggs Benedict.

Veron'a Located in Downtown Texarkana, Verona is one of Texarkana’s newest restaurants. Verona serves the classic southern Biscuits and Gravy, for brunch, but also offers up something more unique in the  Frittata ai Funghi ,which is whipped eggs, spinach, mushrooms, and mozzarella.
