Your Daily Inspriation

I needed a little pick me up for today and found this and thought I would share it with you.My father passed away two weeks ago today and it has not been easy on me. Some nights I have trouble sleeping and my son, who knows exactly what happened to his grandpa asked me last night what was wrong.

He asked me why I was sitting all alone in the living room. I told him that I missed grandpa, and he went on his way going into his room to go play. At bedtime he told me to come in his room so we could pray. Prayer at our house is pretty normal, and my son has learned a couple of prayers he says at dinner and most of the time before he goes to sleep. But last night he prayed a prayer only a sweet little boy can pray. He prayed for the angels to make grandpa better and to let him know that we both missed him.
It was all I could do not to break down in front of him, but through the tears I told him that I loved him and thank him for the special prayer. It is truly amazing to have a son that is 4 1/2 that is so very in touch with his dad that he knows exactly what to do. Make sure you hug your kids today and tell them how much you love them and how much they mean to you.
