A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for today with total accumulations of 3 to 6 inches likely. Roads and bridges are snow covered and hazardous.

Of course all area schools are closed as is Texarkana College, Texas A&M at Texarkana and UACC in Hope. Social Security Office in Texarkana is closed.
