The Monster trucks are coming to the CenturyLink Center in Bossier City this weekend and we have your tickets! It is the Monster Truck Nation Bigfoot 40th Anniversary Bash. Listen to Power 95-9 on Wednesday and Thursday morning for your chance to win tickets.

This is the anniversary of Bigfoot. The creator of Bigfoot is Bob Chandler. He began racing his stock F-250 truck in local events 40 years ago. I remember going to Hirsch Coliseum back in the 80s to watch the tractor pulls and Bigfoot was always the main event. Bob Chandler was nicknamed "Bigfoot" because of his aggressive style of driving and the name has gone on to become something even bigger than ever anticipated.

We will give tickets away during the Power Morning Show for you to witness some legendary action between Bigfoot and his competition Wild Thang, Quad Chaos, Over Bored, Walking Tall, Midnight Rider and Bigfoot 1, the very first version of Bigfoot. Back by popular demand, the car eating, fire breathing, transforming Dinosaur Robot Transaurus which I'm sure many a kid, old and young, will love to see.
