Who Has The Best Pizza in Texarkana?

For our "Wednesday Question of the Day," we asked our audience "Who has the best pizza in town?" and your answers did not disappoint.

Some of your favorites include Larry's Pizza, which now has a new location on St. Michael Drive that has helped its business tremendously. Of course Joe's in downtown Texarkana made the list, and even the new guy in town, Big Cheese Pizza in Wake Village made the list.

Twisted fork and Hopkins Ice House made the comment section and even a few call ins received some attention, but your favorite was Gusano's.

Gusano's got its start in Fayetteville, Ark., by Ben Biesenthal. Ben wanted a place to get his favorite Chicago style pizza he loved and the rest is pizza history.

Since Gusano's is a Chicago style pizza place, I ordered the "Grub Style" pizza in Chicago style, and it did not disappoint. The "Grub Style" pizza has pepperoni, crumbled sausage, onions, cheese,and mushrooms. A cool thing about the restaurant is the atmosphere. It has TVs everywhere and you can see the huge pizza oven as it works, baking your pizza to perfection.

For those of you not familiar with Chicago style pizza it is put together a bit different. The topping and cheese are under a layer of pizza sauce, and the sauce is what makes this one of the best pizzas in town. I am a sauce fan and their tangy sauce is why this is my new favorite place for pizza.
