What Is Texarkana’s Favorite Halloween Candy?

Halloween is just around the corner and if you are like me the shopping for Halloween costumes is a done deal, but what candy do you buy?

Candystore.com did a story about the top 3 most popular candies from each state and the answers may surprise you. Since we live in a unique part of the country we can use the answers from Texas and Arkansas to determine the most popular candy in our city.

For Texas, the top three candies are in order Reese's Cups, Starburst and Almond Joy, for Arkansas the top three are Jolly Ranchers, Hot Tamales, and Butterfingers. These stats are all put together by the national bulk candy retailers organization. American's will spend 2.6 billion on candy for Halloween.

But we asked what your favorite candy on Facebook and the answers were awesome with all of the variety.

In my house, the favorite candy is Starburst, followed by anything chocolate. I  always get the Whoppers that seem to be in my kids Halloween buckets after a trip through the neighborhood.
