Smishing is a way that folks can exploit you through your phone. It usually involves a text message that invites you to a shopping scam. They ask you for your email so they can send you more information, and that is how they get your private information.
Unfortunately there are bad things that can happen to you and your phone so make sure when you get a text that you are not familiar with be careful in responding. These texts can be used to get personal information, bank information, identity theft and even giving our important company information.
