‘Rise of the Planet of the Apes’ was number one again this week, joining ‘Thor’ and ‘Transformers: Dark of the Moon’ as one of only three films this summer to hold the top spot for two weekends in a row.

The film adaptation of the best-selling novel, ‘The Help,’ came in second. The horror flick ‘Final Destination 5’ opened in third. The previous weekend box-office champ ‘The Smurfs’ dropped to fourth and the low-budget action comedy ’30 Minutes or Less’ hit at the fifth position for the weekend. Where was Glee?

Despite the massive television success of ‘Glee,’ its cinematic sister, ‘Glee: The 3D Concert Movie,’ failed to even crack the top 10 which shocks me because I would have thought the show's followers would support the movie. I saw Zookeeper over the weekend and loved it! My husband even said he would go back to see a sequel. Jim from across the hall said Cowboys vs. Aliens was an excellent movie to watch.
