Wacha vs. Middlebrooks in World Series Beginning Wednesday

Two Texarkana boys will be playing against each other as the World Series of Baseball gets underway Wednesday night in BostonMichael Wacha and the St. Louis Cardinals take on Will Middlebrooks and the Boston Red Sox in this years series. The former Pleasant Grove star pitched the Cardinals into the Fall Classic with another gem of a game against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Friday Night.

Middlebrooks is in his second year with the Red Sox and usually plays third base for the Sox. It is thrilling that two Texarkana kids have made it to the World Series and are playing against each other.

Wacha played at Pleasant Grove and Middlebrooks starred for the Liberty-Eylau Leopards.

Hey I want both Wacha and Middlebrooks to do well. But I am firmly in the Cardinals dugout on this one. Go Red Birds!!!!!!!
