According to the press release:

Harvest Texarkana Regional Food Bank, Inc. is hoping the public can help them click their way to a grant from Walmart by voting for them in the "Fight Hunger. Spark Change." initiative - a national campaign where money is awarded to the food bank that gets the most votes for their programs that help alleviate hunger.
The public will decide which organizations will receive the grant through a voting campaign at www.walmart.com/fighthunger that includes more than 200 different hunger relief organizations from across the country. The more votes a Feeding America food bank gets, the better chances they have of winning the money. The funds won will then be used to support local hunger relief programs.
“Harvest Texarkana is in the running to win $45,000 for much needed freezer and refrigeration space. If chosen, $15,000 will also be given to five of our partner agencies,” said Camille Parker, Executive Director. “This is an exciting way to help both the food bank, and the community, so we need everyone to go online and vote as often as they can!”
The public will be able to vote on their favorite food bank starting at 12 am on September 15th through 11:59 pm on Sunday, October 5th at www.walmart.com/fighthunger. Descriptions of programs from across the country that are dedicated to hunger relief in their communities will be posted on the voting site along with a "vote" button. Visitors to the page can award one "vote" a day to their favorite program. At the conclusion of the voting, 50 food banks with the most votes will split $3 million in funding from Walmart.
Funding for hunger relief programs is especially critical given the significant need that exists.
