Baseball under the lights is happening this fall in Texarkana.

Texas A&M University-Texarkana will sponsor a series of two-week “Under the Lights” baseball camps this fall at George Dobson Field at Spring Lake Park in Texarkana, Texas, for students in the fifth through the 12th grades.

Pitching/defense camps are set for Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-9 p.m. Sept. 29-Oct. 8 and Oct. 27-Nov. 5.

Offense camps are set for Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 6-8PM. Oct. 12-Oct. 23 and Nov. 30 through Dec. 11.

“Our vision is to create an atmosphere and environment for all players to learn and develop their natural baseball abilities,” said Michael Galvan, director of athletics at A&M-Texarkana. “We want to help each player reach their maximum baseball potential through hard work, dedication and knowledge of the game.”

Cost is $100 per camper, per camp. Registration fees are non-refundable; however, refunds will be made in the event of inclement weather.
