The University of Arkansas Community College at Hope is hosting its 22nd Annual Fish Fry event on Thursday, April 16, from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. to be held on the front lawn of the Hope campus.

The event will feature the fabulous Lions Club fried fish with all the trimmings as well as Tyson chicken that will also be prepared by the Lions Club. Local talent will provide entertainment at the Anthony-Routon Amphitheater. Activities, including the ever-popular inflatable jump houses, will be provided for children of all ages by the UACCH Nursing Club.

Donations taken at the food line will benefit the Hempstead-Lafayette Single Parent Scholarship Fund. A suggested minimum donation of $2 per plate is requested as a donation by event committee. If you would like to donate more, of course, that will be greatly appreciated. As an added benefit for being so kind, each donors will receive one ticket for every $5 donated for an opportunity to win door prizes during the event.

Up to $14,000 of the funds raised during the event will be matched by the Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund.

Parking in front of the Administration Building will be reserved for the handicapped and the elderly. Shuttles will be provided for all parking areas on campus. Please join the UACCH family on Thursday, April 16, for the 22nd Annual UACCH Fish Fry.
