The event benefits the Alzheimer's Alliance Tri-State Area. For more information regarding this cause please visit the Alzheimer's Alliance website. This information is from their website:

Alzheimer's is a devastating disease that impacts the lives of over 17,000 families in our 22 county service area covering the tri-state corner of Arkansas, Oklahoma and Texas.

Alzheimer's Alliance Tri-State works diligently to provide information, education and support in order to improve the quality of life for those families.

Through our programs and services, we strive to enhance community awareness of Alzheimer's disease and related dementia.

Our goal and mission is to make a difference in the lives of those coping with this disease in our community through educating, caring and connecting.

If we can improve the life of the caregiver, in turn we have improved the life of the person with the disease.

My father suffered from dementia and it was a very difficult disease to deal with. Do not hesitate to contact our local Alzheimer's Alliance for assistance if you have a loved one suffering from either of these diseases.
