TRAHC Juried Student Exhibition May 16th

The Texarkana Regional Arts and Humanities Council or TRAHC is inviting students to participate in the 23rd Annual Juried Student Exhibition.

This exhibition is open to all K – 12th grade students within the Four States Area. Elementary, Middle and High school entries will be judged in three separate categories and works selected will be showcased at the Regional Arts Center May 16, 2015 ‐ June 27, 2015.

The deadline for submissions is May 1, 2015 at 3:45 pm. Teachers should deliver artwork to the Regional Arts Center on or before that date.

Award winners will be announced at the opening reception Saturday, May 16 from 11:30 am ‐ 12:00 pm at the Regional Arts Center. Cash prizes will be awarded to Middle and High school students who receive top honors for their work. Prizes for Best of Show, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places are as follows:

High School Middle School

Best of Show $80.00 $50.00

1st Place $60.00 $35.00

2nd Place $40.00 $25.00

3rd Place $20.00 $15.00

There will also be two Honorable Mention Awards, two Merit Awards, and a People’s Choice Award for each category. Selected works will be exhibited at the Regional Arts Center in Texarkana, Texas from May 16, 2015 to June 27, 2015.
