From the great local country acts to the serious rock and rollers, and a nationally recognized Christian band are just some of the great music you can check out this weekend.

Fat Jack's. With a name like Fat Jacks, you know the food is great, but the live music is the real treat. Dr. Dog, Steve, Weed and Blake Powell will be there tonight. Friday night you can check out Blackstrap and Saturday night its the Halloween party with One Night Stand.

Scottie's Grill is just down the road on 67 and the outdoor stage has some great music as well. Saturday you can check out the band Free Fall on the patio.

The historic Perot Theatre will have a great concert on Saturday night. Newsong will be performing with their I am a Christian tour.

Just a short drive to Shreveport to the Horseshoe Casino you can see Trace Adkins on Friday night.
