We've all done it, or at least most of us. I have probably locked my keys in my car a dozen times or more. I used to be so bad about it that I made a spare key and gave it to the police officer that always came to my rescue back in the day when they could help you open your door even if there wasn't an emergency. But, there are actually several interesting and easy ways to get into a locked car.

According to WikiHow, you can use your tennis shoe string, a hanger and a blood pressure checker to break into your locked car. Pretty wild. They show four different ways to get your door open. If you locked your child or pet in the car, your thought process may not be clear enough to stop and think about finding an inflatable device so maybe just making a spare key ahead of time would be the easiest for you. I use an app for a car service on my phone to lock and unlock my truck. Obviously, if there is a toddler or pet inside and the vehicle isn't running with the air conditioner on, call the police. There is no shame in calling 9-1-1 if someone inside is in danger.

Do you have any funny or crazy stories about locking your keys inside your vehicle?
