On Tuesday, January 29, 2013, Texas Governor Rick Perry told Texans something the rest of the country would sure like to hear, that he wants Texans to get some of their money back.

The Great State of Texas has done something that many other states have been unable to accomplish in recent years, create a budget surplus. The Governor said; “Our bank balance is healthy, our economy is growing, our future is limitless.” Perry also said in his biennial state of the State address to the Texas Legislature Tuesday; “Today, I’m calling for a mechanism to be put in place so when we do bring in more than we need, we’ll have the option of returning tax money directly to the people who paid it, currently, that’s not something our constitution allows. We need to fix that.””

All I can say is, Way to go Gov!

Then that little voice pops up in my head and says, "It's not an election year is it?" Sorry, but he is a politician.
