Texas High to Hold Soccer and Baseball Camps

If you are looking for a fun sports camps for your student to participate in during the upcoming holidays, then look no further than Texas High School who will feature two holiday sports camps.

The Holiday Baseball Camp will be held on Monday and Tuesday, December 21 and 22.  The camp will be held in the THS Indoor multipurpose facility at 4001 Summerhill Road.

Camp for students, ages 6 – 10 years, will be held from 9AM to noon with registration at 8:30 a.m.  The camp for students, ages 11 – 14, will be from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. with registration at 12:30 p.m.

Fundamentals of the sport will be taught with specifics in the following areas:  hitting; throwing; fielding and baserunning.

Cost is $60.  Participants are asked to bring a glove, cap and bat.

The Holiday Soccer Camp on Tuesday, December 29 and Wednesday, December 30.

Open to boys & girls, the December 29 camp will be for students ages 5-9 while the camp on December 30 will be for students ages 10-14.  Camp will be held in the THS Indoor Multi-Purpose Facility from 9:00 a.m. – Noon for both sessions.

Camp participants will enjoy learning individual techniques and a love for the game.  Fundamentals of soccer will be taught as repetitive skill sessions and small sided games will give participants the ability to practice what they have learned in game like situations.

Registration is $20.  Participants are asked bring soccer shoes, shin guards, water and an age appropriate soccer ball.
