The Ross Perot STEM Academy focuses on increasing student achievement, while creating a new workforce of problem solvers, innovators and inventors who are self-reliant and able to think logically.  A rigorous, well-rounded education with outstanding science, technology, engineering and mathematics throughout the curriculum is provided to students in grades 9 – 12.  Enrollment is by application only and slots are limited.

Students enrolled in the Academy are part of a small learning community which operates as a school-within-a-school.  The structure of the STEM Academy is purposefully designed to retain students in the program.  The high degree of interactive involvement, the energized environment of the classroom, and the small school setting with quality relationships between students and teachers create an environment for success.
