It's Homecoming week for Texas A&M University-Texarkana with a lot of actives throughout the rest of the week. 

According to a press release, the A&M-Texarkana Alumni Association has two special events planned: The 2017 Eagle Roundup: A Community Celebration of Distinguished Alumni and Faculty this Thursday, October 12, at 6:30PM and the 2017 Eagle Chili Fest and Tailgate from 12PM - 3PM on game day, Saturday October 14, on the Eagle Lawn next to the University Center.

This year, A&M-Texarkana will incorporate its Family Weekend into the Homecoming Weekend activities.

Here's a look at some of the Texas A&M-Texarkana 2017 Homecoming activities and events the rest of the week:

Wednesday, Oct. 11:

Rally on the Lawn and Chalk the Walk, 11AM-1PM .on the Eagle Lawn. Activities will include wax hands, caricatures, air-brush tattoos and bubble soccer.

Homecoming court candidates will be introduced at 12:15PM at the Eagle Landing at the University Center.

Thursday, Oct. 12:

Homecoming king/queen finalists announced and voting will open at 8AM. voting end at 5PM Friday.

Eagle Roundup: A Community Celebration of Distinguished Alumni and Faculty, 6:30PM at the Eagle Lawn.

Bonfire and Senior Torchlight Parade, 8PM at Bringle Lake Village West Parking Lot

Friday, Oct. 13:

Program for Learning and Community Engagement Movie: “Invisible Man,” 6PM, Eagle Lounge, University Center

Homecoming Glow/Costume Run starts at 8PM on the Eagle Lawn. Runners must pre-register. It is free for students to participate and $15 for faculty, staff, alumni and community. Registration includes a Homecoming Glow/Costume Run T-shirt and headlamp.

Saturday, Oct. 14:

Eagle Chili Fest and Tailgate, 12PM-3PM. Eagle Lawn. Admission is free. Chili bowls are available for a $5 donation to the A&M-Texarkana Alumni Association.

Women’s soccer game at 3PM at Eagle Field.

Homecoming king and queen announcement, 4:30PM. Eagle Field

Men’s soccer game 5PM. Eagle Field

Eagle Field is located on the A&M-Texarkana campus at 7101 University Avenue in Texarkana, Texas.

Homecoming dance, 8PM -11PM.  Eagle Hall, in the University Center.
