Texarkana vs. Beverly Hills, How Much Does Your Dream Home Cost?

How much does your dream home cost? I had a conversation with my wife that if we could buy any house we wanted, it would be a beautiful 4 bedroom, 4.5 bath just inside the city limits of Texarkana sitting on five acres. This house listed on realtor.com for $650,000 fits the bill perfectly.

Out of curiosity, I did a search for the same dream house in a zip code we all know -- 90210. Beverly Hills is the place on the West Coast that we would all dream of living in if it was just not so darn expensive. So, the house with the same specifications on realtor.com comes in at a staggering $8,995,000. And to top it all off it only has .75 of an acre. Oh, but the views make this a stunner.

It's amazing what a difference a zip code makes.
