Texarkana Relay For Life June 8th

The 2012 Relay For Life to benefit the American Cancer Society will be at the Four States Fairgrounds on Friday, June 8 from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.The relay is happening on Friday June 8th at 6pm and wraps up Saturday June 9th at 6 am. There will be plenty of activities to keep you busy and have fun at the same time. Food, games and team activities provide entertainment and fundraising opportunities. This event started back in 1985 as a running marathon in Tacoma, Wash. by a doctor who wanted to enhance the income of his local American Cancer Society office and to show support for all of his patients who had battled cancer.
