The Texarkana Texas Police Department has made a fourth arrest stemming from a robbery that occurred in the parking lot of a local grocery store on January 22. 

Authorities have arrested Deion-Trez Ellis, 20, of Texarkana, Texas for Aggravated Robbery at a relative’s home in Texarkana Thursday afternoon.

Officers were dispatched to the report of a robbery of an individual at the Walmart Neighborhood Market, located in the 3500 block of Richmond Road, at approximately 4:30PM on January 22.

The victim told officers that she was sitting in her vehicle in the parking lot when two young males approached her. They initially asked to use her cell phone and started to walk away after she refused. However, they both returned to her window a few seconds later. One of the suspects allegedly pointed a pistol at her and demanded she hand over her purse. The suspects then fled with the victim’s property on foot before getting into a vehicle occupied by two other people, according to police.

Three other suspects, who were also juveniles were previously arrested and are being held in area juvenile detention centers. One of those juveniles was also arrested for a robbery of an individual who was sitting in his driveway on Sandlin Avenue on January 23.

Ellis is incarcerated at the Bi-State Jail. His bond has been set at $100,000.
