The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department is investigating the latest armed robbery in the Twin Cities.

According to a police press release, officers responded around 11PM Monday to 402 East Street to the Fast and Low convenience store in reference to a 911 call of about a robbery.

Police say the investigation revealed that an unknown suspect entered the business, approached the clerk demanding money while displaying a handgun. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash the suspect reportedly fled on foot in an unknown direction.

The suspect was wearing a black ski mask, dark blue jacket, grey jeans, black dress shoes, white socks, and grey cloth gloves with blue trim around the wrist area. He was described as being a black male, approximately 5' 7" to 5' 9" tall, and weighing 180-200 pounds.
